Easter Eggshell Mosaic.Save all those dyed, peeled Easter egg shells to make a beautiful mosaic picture. Supplies:
- Easter egg shells
- Glue
- Cardboard or heavy construction paper
Directions: Crush all the Easter egg shells into small pieces (but not too tiny!). Glue the egg shells down on cardboard or paper to create a mosaic picture.
Bunny Easter Egg Carton. Kids can collect their eggs in their own Bunny Easter Egg carton, with a bunny head and ears on one end and a bunny tail on the other. Supplies:
- Bottom half of an egg carton.
- Bunny head template (Download PDF File)
- Piece of sturdy cardboard or the cover of an empty one-gallon ice-cream container
- Construction paper for bunny heads.
- Pens or crayons to draw on eyes or noses.
- Cotton balls to fill in the ears, and create the nose and tail.
- Scissors
- Stapler
- Glue
Directions: Trace the bunny head template on a piece or cardboard of ice cream container and cut out. Place the cardboard/plastic template on the construction paper and cut out around the template for your egg carton bunny head. Draw bunny eyes and nose. Glue cotton balls on ears for a soft, bunny feel. Staple bunny head to one end of the egg carton, and glue a cotton ball on the opposite end for the bunny’s tail.

Easter Egg Theater or Fashion Show. Kids can put on a puppet-style play of the Easter story – or any story they’d like tell – with Easter egg characters. Use PAAS Egg Heads™ decorating kit to create characters using our funny face stickers, felt hats and collar stands. Or, little ones can draw their own characters using the pens and brushes in the Megga Family Fun™ kit, stickers in the EGGspress Yourself and Bugs decorating kits, Sparkling Glitter™ kits, or Color Cups. Learn how to make a flesh-colored dye at Easter Egg Decorating Tips.
Bunny Headbands. The whole family can have fun pretending to be bunnies!
Supplies:
- Grey and pink construction paper
- Glue
Directions: Measure each future “bunny’s” head, and cut a piece of construction paper long enough to create a headband. Glue the paper together so the headband fits snugly on each head but is loose enough to take off easily. Cut two ears from gray paper, and then two “inner" ears from pink paper. Let each bunny glue their pink ear to their gray ear. It's okay if it's a little off—it's art! Then, either staple or glue the ears to the headband. Now you’re ready begin your bunny party: hopping around and eating carrots for a snack! For even more fun, draw on bunny whiskers with black eyeliner.
